Berkeley Hills is the work of acclaimed golf course architect Ron Kirby, whose six-decade career took him from the design team of Robert Trent Jones Sr. to a long partnership with Gary Player and, most famously, the creation of Old Head of Kinsale in Ireland. Kirby shaped Berkeley Hills’ rolling Gwinnett County terrain into a championship test, with nine-time major champion Gary Player lending his player’s eye as consultant on the design. The result is a course that rewards thoughtful shot making over raw power — tree-lined fairways, strategic water, and greens that have challenged members for more than fifty years. The course offers 18 unforgettable holes, stretching nearly 6,900 yards from the back tees. Thoughtfully crafted to balance challenge and playability, our course welcomes golfers of all skill levels, from seasoned competitors to those just discovering the game.

Course Overview
The tree-lined fairways provide scoring opportunities for those who find them, with only two par 4s exceeding 406 yards and two par 5s easily reachable in two. The standout 505-yard third hole features water running along the left, making accuracy essential from tee to green. While water comes into play on several holes, the course’s main defenses are its narrow fairways, sloping greens, and deep bunkers protecting tucked pin positions.
